t1r's or prada spec 2's ?

I found Toyo are good in a 55 profile rather than 50, the 50 has bad tyre wall flex, where the 55 didnt.

hankook rs2's best for money, unless your going for toyo r888's i dont rate them what so ever

when my paradas had good tread i thot they were sh1t hot in the dry

but turn into a set of ski's in the wet.

but why do u want to drive that fast in the wet on public road anyway???

does me a favour at the end of the day i dont speed in the rain

Spec 2's for the money are great, i run them on my car, the sidewall is a bit soft but in comparison to the t1r's they're the winner. On track they perform well for a beginner but after 10 - 15 minutes they will overheat and start to loose grip.

Agree they are bad in the wet! but as stated who drives agressively in the wet?

It's not about driving agressively, it's about the car being safe in the wet.

ive had both the t1rs and the spec 2
DO NOT BUY THE T1RS they are utter rubbish extremely soft sidewall almost makes the car feel like a boat and every tyre isnt the best in the wet so dont worry about the but the ps2 are very good in the dry and at 35-40 quid a corner you cant be bad to it for a road tyre

they are more than safe enough in the wet aslongs you dont drive like a t*t

no tyre would be road legal if it was that bad in the wet

but if you are going to be redlining often in the wet then mayb buy something else

can vouch for that lol thats why im saying i dont drive fast in the wet. but there ok to drive like regular joe

205/55/16 toyo t1r is what im running on my 9 and no complaints here :nice:

Spec 2's = better

?? Should be the other way around if its the same width tyre[/QUOTE

ha ha no man. i have both, 50's and 55's the, 55's are by far the better option. 50's for some reason are muck. but i know what you mean, it should be.:p

cheers for all the help guy i think im going with the prada spec 2's. i dont drive like a mad man in the wet or dry so i should be ok :)

cheers

just so every one knows. i got a set of prada spec 2's and for the price of them i am very pleased. although there not quiet as good as the r888's they havent let me down yet. (touch wood)
