Swapping to S2000 from EG/EK

You can pick up a grey AP1 for £3500+, but likely to be a POS haha.

I did look a while ago and a nice JDM AP1 could be had for around £5-6k. Anything in white or yellow was like £10k+

All UK S2000's are AP1 guy.

I had more fun driving my s2k on the track compared to my civic but the civic is much more fun for general trashing on backroads. Less susceptible to weather etc.

there's a spoon fed yellow one on it at the moment, nearly has the full spoon catalogue of s2k parts installed, supercharged aswell worth a look but it £15k!

hendyperformances personal car. very sick. easily spent 45+ g's.

Define hardcore as it relates above.
Less of a compromise to make the car comfortable which usually leads to more noise, harsher suspension (though obviously it shouldn't be too harsh on public roads as those aren't perfectly flat) etc. Which might give the driver more of a performance/racing/etc. experience even though it might not be actually faster.

Of course , everyone has different tastes and what they want out of a car .
Then I'd say moving to an S2k from a Civic isn't natural progression as you'd choose the car that you like more. And that is taste dependent.

I have thought that the RWD vs FWD, the RWD would be preferred as a more performance related setup. Challenges the driver more.
Theoretically RWD is the better setup so yes, if it is about outright and objective performance then RWD would definetely be prefered I guess. In daily life there are more factors that count obviously like available budget.

cant give this statement enough thumbs up. so true.

JT you are a smart dude.

The primary compromise with an s2k is two seats IMO.

I chose the DC2 after the SiR EK.

Had both.
Ek9 much preferred, you can grab these by the balls and drive them.
S2k although a very good car, no where near as fast in track as my ek9s

Sometimes a person needs to be the leader when they are not in a position of leadership... think of it as leadership training until that position opens up.

As I gain orbits around our sun I find those looking for praise often fail at gaining praise.

Anywho--tad off topic right "moderator"?

Been looking at s2k's for a while now, just can't get myself to spilt with the ek9.

You driven one? if not then have a go. Y'all know if you do then. Just don't buy one and spend all your time looking at time attack S2000s. Then, if your like me, all you will want is AERO AERO AERO lol

First trackday last Friday in the S2000 and was great fun , loved it :)

I had every intention of modifying it more towards track use , but its too fun to drive on the road and track in standard form :nice:
