no, its slows down your car :/ come on bro what do you think? of course it makes your car faster!! its basically like converting your b16b into a b18c-spec r but with higher compression.
 
of course yes! 200 hp, more torque + 11.1 compression! and you have a 1800 cc!
 
You see i want to get a EK9.. but im worrying about modifying it.. because i want to but.. keep seing some people who have 1.8's in there ek9 shells.. if i get the Ek9 1.6.. in the future with this stroker kit.. do i have the option to upgrade to the 1.8... and would that alter my top end speed as i have heard?

you need to know how to build an engine to install the stroker kit, and yes you can upgrade your b16b to a 1.8 at anytime assuming you have the $$$$$$
 
jamie, just to let you know the B16B ek9 engine is a destrocked b18c spec r engine! so yes, you can convert your b16b to a b18c spec r engine any time!

i plan to do this, when i need and engine rebuild, right now my motor only has 61,000 kms, and its working fine :D

the b18c spec r engine came in the dc2 jdm integra type r 95 - 2000:nice:
 
Thanks for the info.. when i get my Ek9.. i plan to eventually stroke the engine.. also if i can could i adda turbo to the stroked engine haha.. im just planning ahead eh ;)
 
oh also by that.. i dont mean install it all myself just fund it haha:p
 
you can turbocharge anything bro, but if your going to turbo it its better to replace the rods/pistons with forged ones. so instead of buying the spoon stroker kit, buy an ITR crank and forged ITR pistons and forged ITR rods from like eagle/JE/weisco/CP etc...
 
So... would it be good. if you stroked the b16b to the 1.8.. then changed the forged pistons and rods.. and then turboed it..
 
this one is an opinion. you have to decide for yourself. go play with google, learn the pros and cons, then make an educated decision :)
 
Would a stoker kit make it quicker than a b16b
