Spoon EK9

I disagree with pretty much everyone.

I love the exhaust and positioning. I think it looks weird in a really cool way. Love pretty much everything about the car. The wheels could be slightly darker bronze to be perfection IMO. But that it, everything else is spot on.

I would pay £12K also for this. No really more then that.

but compared to the old spoon ek9 this looks gash. the exhaust is terrible and the wheels look ridicolous lol.

Obv must be a reason why the exhaust is there maybe better flow or something. Bet it sounds awsome
 
exhaust isnt there for looks, surprised other conmpanies havnt offered that position exhaust for ek9 for pure funtion and those that couldnt care less about looks, imagine it would hang lower than stock position whicc could be issue
 
well i still think that a EK9 should always be, a B16B, a 1600cc NA powerhouse~
Its the ridiculous small displacement but high power characteristic that make the EK9 renowned for. If u want a K20A go buy a FD2R or EP3, no meaning if u put a F20C engine in a Accord.....rite?

Oh and by the way, the Spoon K20A EK9 is HEAVIER than the original Spoon EK9...laptime? slower by 1 sec..
 
the original spoon EK9 is an 1800cc too. strange how its slower.
 
iirc the spoon k20 ek9 has a rear diffuser ,mabe thats why the exhaust is where it is.......

That is a different one, the exhaust is fitted in the correct "standard" position with the diffuser.

This is already sold! Boy in the US bought it, saw some pics of it stateside in the spoon thread over on honda-tech

The fit of the doors is rubbish since they are carbon but painted, boot is also carbon hence why it has no badge, all 3 rear windows are also polycarbonate hence why they don't have oem tint like the fronts, PROPER weight saving stuff :)

Might not be on about the same one, we asked the question to Spoon Japan last month after a customer e-mailed in asking about a K20 EK9, Ichi then said he would put it up for sale, and we got sent all the details/photos, etc through about it with a cost.

I do know there is a Spoon K20 EK9 in USA, but as far as im aware its not this one, because as mentioned above, this was fairly recently put up for sale, and only because we asked the question.

What if you cant afford a fd2r or ep3 or if you love the ek and the k20 engine and want to join them :drool: theres a reason behind every creation!:thanks:

Have you ever actually been in an EK or EG with a k20 in it? It makes a b16b seem like a snail, its totally different compared to an EP3 etc.

I own one and its immense but ek9s are all about b16b. The spoon one is nice and I would love to go to Japan and see these creations go!
 
God damn!! Love everything except the wheels and exhaust, but id happily put up with them for the rest of the goodies :D what a beast!
 
I love EK9's

but a K20 EK9 owns a B16b EK9

Surely most EK9 owners would happily swap there B16b for a K20-i know i would of in a second. For me the B16b is torqueless and boring as hell, until mine had a Spoon ECU then it made it a bit more fun.
 
I didnt find the B16b boring but i preferred the B18C soooo much more. A K20a would just be sweet as.

Have u ever been in a EK with a turbocharged B18C? I bet THAT make the K20A look like snail rite? My point is that it ruins the originality of the car itself.....i believe other then the performance of the car itself alot people still favors the EK9, simply cuz of, everything inside that makes the car, a EK9, the originality, the identity of itself.
