okay i was looking to upgrade the brakes on my em1 to the spoon twinblock with there kit with new rotors all around but am unsure of what the smallest wheels i can fit since it comes with 15 inch rotors up front here is a link to the front brakes Spoon - Brake Conversion Parts - Nengun Performance

i was looking at some bbs rgf 15x7 with a 42mm offset as pretty close to type r wheels

That's probably for the Mono-Block upgrade and not the Twin-Block Clappers....

i refuse to believe the rotors are 15" as that would require a 19" wheel in most cases, can someone who has a set please confirm?

No the rotors aren't 15", they rotors will be the same 282mm that are on the ek9 and dc2r, I think the 15" is for the wheels as they fit under the sw388 in 15" but the offset is 35

correct.

In Japan, they state the rotor size based on the smallest wheel that will fit over the brakes.

Most 15in. wheels will fit over the twinblocks. If not, run a spacer if you really like those wheels.

x 2 :)

it's not just the offset but also the design of the wheel which will dectate if you will have enough clearance for the calipers!

for instance i'm pretty sure that the oem 15" wheels for EK9's and ukdm DC2's are about the same offset, both are made by Enkei too

but since the integra have quite flat spokes if yuo look on the inside of the wheel they do not have as much caliper clearance as the civic which have more shaped spokes and improved clearance

for that reason you can run Spoon twinblock calipers on an EK9 with standard wheels without wheel spacers but with the DC2 using standard wheels you need iirc a 5mm spacer

most higher end motorsport inspired wheels by volks etc usually have good caliper clearance though :)

They fit fine on DC2 JDM 16" and JDM 15" OEM wheels.
