I am in really urgent need to get my B18C4 engine fitted into my EJ6 but I can't find anyone or anyware local to fit it for me and do the wiring...I have all the parts and money to fit it just finding someone.

I would need VTEC wiring into my d series loom and a map put on my blank socketed P28 ecu....

Money waiting also the cars engine is dead so cant tow far.

Cheers

You need a bseries vti/ek9 engine loom, OBD2A if your prefacelift and OBD2B if your facelift. Your dseries loom will not work.

I was told VTEC can be wired into it but I also have a B18C4 loom still attached to the engine from the aerodeck VTi?

Where abouts do you stay??

I live in Worksop just down from sheffield.

Neither are any use. You need one of the two looms i posted above. around 150 pounds. You would need a conversion harness from OBD2 to OBD1 to use your p30/p28

Not being funny mate but ive seen it done before with D looms that did'nt have VTEC before.

Quite a few Honda tuners like race-tech and DNR have not said anything about paying for a new loom.

You can re-wire a D-Series loom for the job i'm not 100% sure if you need any plugs changed but you will need extra ones for VTEC

Most of the americans re-wire their D-Series looms and obviously if you already have a SOHC VTEC engine your off to a winner if not you need VTEC wired in and also extend the fuel injector wires.

So youd rather splice a loom to **** and have potential problems rather than pay an extra 150 quid and have a direct plug and play loom?

Nae hassle.
