how many people actually use these guys, they are like a rip off, anyone i have known who have tried have got ridiculous prices off them

Hi I have used them a couple of times on a modified car and they have been the best quote each time, Service with Luke@ Sky second to none really.

Moray

yes i have tried so have others, they either cannot insure you or get £5g+ quote which is silly, better off with admiral which i found to be 1000x better

reason they will be giving you high quotes is because you will be high risk. A small company is going to struggle to compete with the massive firms on price but if I was to have an accident i'd rather be covered by sky than admiral.

Go with admiral until you can afford to switch to sky would be my advice :nice:

How old are you and what you wanting to insure?

Sky would insure me when others said I had to be 21 and they've given great quotes

Plus a mega plus point is speaking to someone from the uk, can't stand phoning companies with call centres that you can't understand a word of the person on the phone

Luke @ sky is the best

Last month we had 7 members take a policy with us from 20 who contacted us for a quotation, in our industry, that figure is remarkably good. We cannot help everyone though unfortunately, we look for the better risks. If you PM me your details I should be able to give you a valid reason why we are uncompetitive.

Recommend them :nice: like said, they cant help everyone there is so many variables!

I tried going to sky, No luck for me ;( Must be area I live. I'm going to give them a try next year.

I've been insured with sky twice now, I can't fault them friendly helpful staff and cheapest quotes :)

Im with sky, and their customer service skills are to a high standard and are very helpful, think i spoke with luke when i originally got quoted and he seemed to know his stuff too! This is my second year with them now with no problems at all. As said it must be your postcode or you background thats causing the high quotes as mine is a very good price, it helps that they cater for modified cars too, where as admiral etc havent got a clue about your car and will think your a chav rather than an enthusiast

Just saying...

howdy boys and girls... anyone know a good crowd for insurance on EK9's these days?

Tried Sky insurance after reading this thread but they couldn't do any better than £2000+ fully comp on my 9 :(

I'm with Flux Direct (Adrian Flux) at the moment and they have just quoted me £1400 fully comp as a renewal price which isn't terrible but would like to hear from anyone if they know of anywhere that could do better!

FYI I'm 23 with 4 years NCB living on the outskirts of London (near Uxbridge / Watford way).

I was previously with chris knott insurance im now with sky insurance... Cant complain with the prices at all from sky!

Good customer service to

Yeah I had heard good things about sky but I guess it just all comes down to age and location in terms of what kinda price they can do.

Still going to speak to prestige and CK at some point this week... will report back!
