Sky Insurance 20% Insurance Discount for UK EK9 Owners

Just to dig up this thread is there any chance if a reasonable quote for me on an ek9?
In a couple of months I'll be 20 with 3ncb and 3 points cu80???
I'm a responsible driver

We may look at this for you but only on a TPFT basis unless you are very close to your 21st birthday.

Just got quoted on my EK4 Vtis with tesco and its gone up to £380 fully comp, i have 10yrs+ NCB and its a standard car with only angel eyes, reckon you could beat it?

It is impossible to say without knowing your full details but it is well with giving us a ring.

tel: 0208 3645500, please make it very clear you are a member of EK9.org: JDM EK9 Honda Civic Type R Forum when you speak to us.

If you wish you can PM me your contact details and I will arrange a call back?

Thanks

Hey all,

Im a new member to the forum and currently dont own a EK9 however im looking to purchase one in the very near future. I turn 21 on the 28th of August this year and was just wondering what the insurance would be like for me? I currently dont have any previous ncb as my previous cars have been with my company. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi. Nice price for an insurance in my UK. I think that I can save more money if I used that 20% discount for the insurance policy in my car. :D

Hi James,

you'll have to shop around, nobody can predict insurance prices.

Thanks

Just had my renewal for my EK9 and EK3 my EK9 has gone up by almost £100 for the year and my EK3 up by £75 and thats with an additional extra yrs no claims bonus!!! Not sure whats going on there then unless Insurance premiums in general have increased by 20-30% over the past year. I have tried a couple other Companies and one in particluar was considerably lower for the same cover so going to continue shop around then make my decision. If anyone can recommend some please let me know. Cheers :)

i tried to get insured with sky today and they couldnt insure me

im 20 with 3 years no claims, but i have 3 points from a faulty tyre (it wasnt faulty and im taking them to court over it) but sadly it still counts for now :(, i need insurance asap!!

Not tried bell/admiral aaron?

iv been with them since i was 18 with the jordan. 1300 fully comp in my name this year with mods declared

Got insured on Friday with Sky F/C, 2 yrs NCB, covered induction kit, full exhaust and coilovers, also get to DOC TPFT. Cost me £1270.

Please pass my thanks to Sam who was a great help :nice:
