Skunk2 or tegiwa

Sorry if this has been covered but search button doesn't work on my phone :(
I'm after a new manifold, I'm stuck between the skunk2 mega power and tegiwa's toda rep.
Anyone had experience in the both of them?
I have a skunk2 mega power exhaust system, my thought was the skunk2 manifold so the two worked well together.
Any help would be much appreciated

Tegiwa is the copy of toda aint it.
Sk2 manifolds are good, getting one soon

Both sre good think the sk2 will be better though
 
I just got a skunk2 megs power and I love it. Worth every penny
 
I'm in the same position decision wise for a new manifold, what that cheapest people have found the skunk2 for ?
 
What's the difference between the megapower and alpha series headers? Both have the same kind of features but the megapower is double the price :shocked:

For the money i don't think you can beat the Toda replica.

Yeah tegiwa is cheap for the money but it's just the same idea as all the knock off Chinese/eBay jobs that cost half as much.
 
So the skunk2 alpha is just the same but cheaper?
Might just get one of them if that's the case!
 
Just looked then and there a hell of a lot cheaper. Probably just get that.

I'm really thinking about getting 1 too. If we had more people interested we could possibly get a group buy going? Save some cash...
 
anyway whats your set up - purpose of the car ?

i would stay away from skunk2 alpha
toda replica gives good results even on a build b19.

but skunk2 mega power header is better than both the above and costs almost twice the tegiwa ..
end of the day if you have a plain I/H/E b16b go with a toda replica.

Funky power do them. Priced at £389.99. I'll ring them tomorrow to see if there up for a group buy and if they are what kind discount we could get :naughty:

Skunk2 says that there would be no performance increase between the megapower and the alpha.

Why would you stay away from them? Yes the Toda/Toda replica may give you 1-2hp more (which in real life driving you'd never feel) but everyone is getting them. It's nice to see a NEW design of header which is very similar to the performance gains of the Toda.
