stock ek9 is 60mm

get the 68mm.

70 and 72 are usually for turbo cars or NA cars making 275-300+whp.

can I ask something....bigger throttle only improves throttle response?

and only gives minimal gain in power?

throttle body is like any other bolt on like I/H/E its only 1 piece to the puzzle. on its own gains are minimal, but together with other parts it starts to add up. think of your engine as an orchestra, all parts work in harmony as does the orchestra. if you take 1 member out of the orchestra and have him play on his own it would hardly be impressive, but put him in an orchestra with all the excellent players and you have beautiful music.

even cams on there own wont make that much power.

You will lose torque with a 68mm throttle body, but gain throttle response. I personally wouldn't go for such a large throttle body on a 1.6 liter NA motor, it far exceeds the CFM the motor needs. By the time that size throttle body is helping, you have to shift.

Hmm, I used a 60 - 62 - 66 and a 70 mm throttle body.

The best that worked for me was the 62 mm, why? because I didn't loose torque, the 70 mm made me loose a lot of torque. Also my motor was stock.

If your car is a daily drive I would recommend a 62 - 66 mm one if you have basic mods, for example only bolt ons.
