SIR EK4 from aberdeen

Been on this site a while now but have never put up a build up so here goes -

ek4 sir 1996
digital climate control /aircon / mid boot spoiler
and the usual jdm interior parts (pop out cup holders, coin pocket , flare , arm rest

Mods when i bought it about 2 month ago were

ARC super induction filter
buddyclubb pro spec 2 cat back exhaust +decat
tanebe coilovers

tanebe front strut brace
cobra imola2 bucket seat
Volk racing Ce28 forged alloys
rear window side deflectors
wind deflectors
personal steering wheel
tegwida aluminium radiator
billion rad hoses

some pics when i first got it -

Over the past 2 month i have been pottering away buying things for it and got a bit carried away to start with.

list of mods in the past 2 month

facelift taillights (jdm'd)
ek9 recaros (spoon low rails )
import plates
tegwida xbrace
gave the car a good clean - polish
cleaned/polished engine bay
and some stickers

some pics of what it looks like now-

this weekend ill be fitting a mugen 4-1 manifold and ek9 headlights and i also have the smooth ek9 bumpers and a ek9 spoiler away getting painted.

unsure if the spoiler will look good with the mid spoiler tho will just have to wait and see

That looks really good on the CE28's, really purposeful! Some nice parts on there mate, Enjoy it!

I am in the same dilemma with the mid-spoiler on my SiR. Just wish it weren't there in the first place to be honest lol.

thanks i quite like the mid spoiler just hope it goes with the ek9 spoiler aswel if not ill get a carbon spoon spoiler.

the arc kit i like i just think it could be slowing the car down a bit as theres not enough cold air getting to it :/ might have to diy somthing to get cold air into it


Plans for it are as follows :

tomorow ek9 headlights and mugen 4-1

in the future - takata harnesses , ek9 bumpers , ek9 spoiler or spoon spoiler paint rocker cover gold , would quite like a carbon front lip but unsure of what lip to go for and at end of the month ill be purchasing a 5 panel rear view mirror

I'm from Aberdeen too. Think I've seen it a couple of times on my way to the gym and stuff but never noticed the loudness of the exhaust lol

update - fitted a 4-1 at the weekend

but hut a speedbump and this happend

so have the standard manifold back on and will be looking for a new 4-1 or 4-2-1 ?

on a good note these came today -

was dark by the time i got home from college so will get them in car after work tomorow
