Hello everyone who might view my profile/this post. I have been a member of this site for almost a year now and have never posted anything introducing myself. In january of 2009 I bought a 1996 Honda Civic hatch CX. This is one of the only civics that i really like, due to body shape and handling characteristics.
I have many plans for it are as fallows, in a list of no particular order.
I want to tint the windows and get the car painted championship white.
I am looking to replace the stock suspension with a complete coil-over suspension, I'm really looking to tighten up the entire car.
I'm in the market right now for a new set of wheels, and I want TE37's all around but they are out of my price range by many fold.
I need to redo all the electronics in the car, because my speakers suck, and they need to be replaced.
I want to replace my cluster, because I need a tachometer and i do not want a giant one because i'm trying to make a sleeper.
My big project is going to be a full motor swap. I have a d16 currently and its peppy but not as strong as I would like. It does have 175,000 miles on it. I'm not entirely sure about which motor i would like in the final project. Debating between a b20-vtec, a type-r b16/18 or even a k-24 swap. I'm really just looking for a sense of speed when i need it. I'm sure i forgot many things but i'm in the middle of finals week, and i need to work on my car.
