Hi guys I'm planning to get a new car but can't decide either a s2000 or dc5 what do you guys think?
:)

They are very different cars! What do you want from it? A dc5 will be a hardcore b road blaster compared to the more gt esq S2k.

Oooh, million dollar question. I love the S2000, one of my faves, an awesome machine. If it was a choice of either for me I think it would have to be the DC5, it looks amazing, and certainly a lot less common than a S2000. So its one to the DC5 for me

I would use it during weekends really and may be a cheeky trackday once in a while ;), I know what you guys mean dc5 are more rare to see on the road but the one problem it stopping me buy a dc5 is it hard to get of body parts if I crash or someone crash into me?

Personally I would go s2000. If it s a weekender then it diesnt matter that its a 2 seater. They have so much potential.

I've had an s2000 and I loved it! The Rwd was a lot of fun!
A dc5 is a totally different car! They both look amazing!

I think I'd have the s2000 again over a dc5

And be different when choosing colours! I had a Indy yellow s2000 and it turned some heads!

S2000 unless you need to put **** in the back in which case DC5 lol.

I'd agree that the dc5's are a lot rarer, think I've only seen one on the roads in the last month but I see a couple of s2000's a week.

I like the looks of the dc5 more and I'd choose it for practicality.

It's a lot of money to be putting down on a car so I'd go for plenty of test drives before deciding. S2000's do seem to drop in price a bit at this time of the year.

dc5s are still overpriced for what they are i think...I went for the s2000....haven't regretted it

what your after is nice red s2000 gt!

You'd be surprised, DC5 body parts are quite easy to get a hold of. Integrastella is always breaking DC5 and has been for many years. Not just him, if you go on eBay now their is a number of people breaking them plus parts come up on the DC5 forum once in a while.

S2K

And also, a DC5 is not less common than a S2K.

Yes they are. The only reason you think they aren't is because of the number you see at meets such as South Mimms compared to S2K. Reason being is the majority of DC5 owners are car enthusiasts and are into the Honda/Jap car scene which means they attend meets.

Many S2Ks you see out on the roads tend to be your everyday normal person which like a 2 seater convertible but have better taste :D
Im not in anyway saying S2K owners aren't car enthusiasts, just the majority of the ones you see out on the road aren't. I see quite a higher number of S2K on the road compared to DC5.

ive had both cars, i kept the dc5 for about 5 weeks, i just didn't take to it after owning an ek9, i later bought the s2000 which ive not long sold, i really liked it but it was too tempting to kick the back end out, every roundabout, every junction etc so i thought i better sell it incase i lost my licence, i'd be more than happy to go back to an ek9, i love them!
