Rota wheels on EK

just cause they might copy other designs don`t make them bad rims, and as said that car in the pics has hit somethin, can`t see it goin round a bend and the wheel breakin in half to be honest.

I agree with that too.

i have used set of 16" volk ce28n copies for sale if anyones interested with hankook rs2 tyres (4x100 and 4x114.3), shoot me pm if you are and give you more info

what is the chances of all 5 spokes breaking. i work with wheels every day i sometimes use old wheels to to lift lorrys when they have flat tyres so u can get a jack under the axle. we drive the lorry onto the wheel and some of they lorrys carry well over 40-50 tone on them. and iv never seen a wheel even break the only way is to have hit somethin hard. so dont let that pic put u off.

Those pics always do the rounds on the internet - usually posted by somebody who paid 3x the price for the original wheels. I have been selling Rota Wheels for the last few years and have never had an issue like that (after selling 10s of 1000s of wheels). Notice how it doesnt show the full picture... just zoomed in on the wheel.
There are also photos of destroyed Work, Advan, Volk, Enkie and 5Zigen wheels out there if you look hard enough.
We had a guy that hit a huge kerb at over 100mph head on, popped a hole in 2 of his tyres the size of a fist and yet the Rota wheels were spot on (and from kerbing)
I run Slipstreams on my daily driver EM1 coupe - never had an issue

I Rock Rota slips on my car!

sixteens are the best, means you can get proper brakes behind them :D and they look alot better than 15s

its next to a kirb you can see whare a yellow line hase been removed, ive never heard anything bad about these wheels:nono:

to be honest rota is good, compare to the other brands that are also copycat.if you have a freind from philippines you can easily request to your freind to order there and save some bucks, they have wide range of models and sizes there.rotas are made in phillipines, they have a good quality control.but if i can wait and save some money,i would go for forged wheels like volkracing wheels.

Need some help from you guys. Would it be any good getting 15X7.5" wheels as opposed to 15X7" wheels. I have a EK9 but I do not know if I will rub with the 7.5"s. I can only get the wheels in +40 offset. I was also planning to run 195 tires on the 7.5"s or 7.0"s depending on my final choice. I do not track the car, but I do want the wheels to be flushed with the fenders if possible. I believe the 7.5" will bring them closer to my desire look. These wheels will be 15"s. Please advice.

If u have to run a 7.5" rim, use a 205 width tyre. and regardless of the width of the rim, you have to get the correct offset. It's a case of trial and error.
