REAR LCA's 2000 ej9 problems.

Just bought and fir my coilovers, i had to remove the oem lower control arms, i thought i would replace them with some after market uprated LCA's, i recieved them today and fitted them, but they appeared to be about 30mm shorter than the stock arms, it gave my car ridiculous positive camber. have i missed something or is it just that they are incorrect for the EJ9, the advert said the arms fit all models of civic 96-00 EK & EJ's, do they require rear adjustable camber are they just plain and simply incorrect. can anyone help me?

Sounds like the LCA's you have are for EG's as they are shorter than EK's.

are the EK's LCA's the same as the EJ's ?

Yes they are, ek/EJ the same EG smaller

top is an oem eg arm
bottom is an oem ek arm

sounds like you've got EG/DC2 rear arms instead of EJ/EK arms.

Thanks for the pics mine are deffinatly the bottom arms, the updated ones I bought must have been EG arms, absolutely gutted my civic has been stuck on the ramp at work for almost a week now
