As above has anyone heard of these coilovers.can find very little info on them online so maybe some one has had first had experience with them or knows something about them, thanks

they are used in some of the best motoring videos from Japan. track oriented coilovers with IIRC 16k front 10K rear rates or harder.

yeah usually really hard rates , unstreetable.

The damping is fixed aswell on them I think , valved for the track.

'Unstreetable' isn't strictly true haha, i ran Js Racing/CRUX 18/16 coilovers for a year or so with no problems..

I don't know what silk covered roads you have but that suspension in any car in Ireland would just bounce off the road! no joke!

You cant compare because they have adjustable damping .. !

The adjustability made next to no difference, the car was actually much better to drive with the dampening set to harder than soft. As in, more bareable.

probably because you spend most of the time in the air :)

RG N1 coilovers have been and still are widely used in Japan. Used by vicious amateurs and by professional teams. And as said above, usually these have hard rated springs installed.

? Next to no difference but it was much better ... come on .

They make no sense to be on a road car , even one in Japan

Next to no difference with regards to stiffness, but completely changed the way the car felt on rebound..i should've worded it better.

stiff springs are only an issue when your coilovers have crap valve rates..

Agreed. Using racing parts on a road car is pointless. You're gonna look well race when a standard EJ9 passes you on your average bumpy B road.
