quick Q guys

If im right in saying they are compat, but i heard there kack as they are jerky and move forwards, but with bigger bolts and washers it should be good to go ....

:)

I been reading a few posts lately that say they tilt the seat forward, equating to a loss of support for the thigh's. Dont sound too good to me, but I'd be interested to hear some more opinions.

Not really sure what the attraction is with these...

basically i've already got a low position seat rail but, it's a bugger to adjust me thinks i need, well i want a couple of new ones! :)
i'm only about 5"11 but, i've got a big back sat in my mates '9 with normal seat rails and there's probably about an inch from my head to the roof, it just felt like i was in my old fiesta again!!! :)

but yeah more opinions would be very much appreciated. :nice:

yes they do fit to the oem recaro.... they are also VERY light in comparison to the standard rail

if you look at the standard rail you notice that both sides of the rail lock in place so it is VERY secure after you have adjusted the front to rear position, the spoon rail on the other hand only locks on one side, i have heard people on forums mention that the seat "twists" as a result under heavy braking. I ran a spoon rail for a few days and didn't feel this, although i am quite light at 12.5 stone and didn't have the rail installed for long enough i guess to comment on this.....

the reason i got rid of the rail was that it tilted the seat a bit too far forwards for my liking, i felt that you lost the support under your thighs, although thinking about it now if i had installed some washers/longer bolts between the rail and front mounting point of the seat it would have tilted it back and improving the support

i now run DC2 integra rails (oem fittament recaro ones) which one mounting point had to be modified on, they sit a good inch lower than stock! i'm 6'2" and i find the driving position almost perfect, low enough but not too low

hope that helps :)

Go for Bride RO rails, you can find them on vtec direct, similar price to the Spoon ones, still fit the Recaro's and they lock on both sides!

i'll check 'em out cheers. definitely interested in double lockers!
