I have just rebuilt my rear calipers and put new pistons in also. While I was at it also change the discs and pads.
Problem I have now is I basically have feek all handbrake, handbrake will also pull up all the way. And the bit I do have is pull on one side.
I'd say the rear brake are not fulling to much.

do the pistons self adjust?

cheers

First thing id try is back the cable right off at the adjuster nut in the car.

Give the pedal a good pump out then adjust the cable up again.

If you still only have a bind on one side try taking the cable off the calliper and see if the cable moves free'ly.

do you not have to reset the lever arm on the caliper that the handbrake cables use.

I bleed the brakes twice no air. Didn't reset anything. I thought they would adjust them selves.
I thought they would have went the other way with new pads and discs being put on.

To re set~
Slacken cable right off inside car so that the levers on the calipers are right back against the stops,

Un bolt callipers and wind pistons back,

Re fit callipers,
Pump brake pedal hard a good few times,

Adjust any slack out of cable to the point before the brakes start to bind,

That should give you a half decant hand brake:nice:

Make sure the slot in piston face is at right angle so it fits into pin on pad.

As mini said, fully pump break pedal before you touch the hand brake.

Dunx
