Porsche Boxster

i prefer the caymen S, its basically a hardtop version but ive heard its MUCH faster, porche had to fit it with longer gears just so it wouldent beat the 911!!

i always thought of the boxster as the poor mans porsche..

haha i guess you could consider it that..in terms of like quality and speed of the car, do you guys have any clue about that stuff? the dealership is offering 43,000 for a boxster with 20 miles on it (2007 though)

Yeah, I don't like the Boxster either. It's cheaper and weaker. I see it as the CX/DX of Porches (if you aren't in the US, that's our cheapest Civic/Accord models. CX only pertains to 92-00 Civic hatches though and they are the absolute lowest.)

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome......the dude that cuts my hair (on the very rare occasion it gets cut) drives a Miata....yes he's gay. He's cool though. He drives a newer manual one and he plans to mod it.

Ive been in a Boxter S its rapid, you wont get another 3.2 out there that will touch it i seen one at crail and it hammered loads of evos and 'liners (Dunno if it was supercharged or what) Although a GTiR gave it a good seeing to.....

th i dont like em at all. their only a cheap porsche, they do go nicely tho

Is he getting it new or used? If its a new one its gonna be upwards of 25k You would get a sweet Evo 9 300 maybe even a 360 for a bit more???

Or if he can find a nice used one he could get a FQ 400 there really nice, a bastard to service right enough and there was only 100 built....

They're fantastic as long as you can live with owning a boxter! You need the 3.2 (or is it 3.4 now?) S. I've only driven a Cayman S, but it's the best thing I've ever driven - so balanced, taught, ride was great, sounded great, really easy to drive - I'd put my own money on one. Still the best thing I've driven, and I've driven quite a bit (993 turbo & carrera, 3.2 carrera, audi R8, golf r32, TVR T350).

Boxter S is a very good car, I aren't really fond of the models below that. For that money you could have an R34 GTR, or a HOT NSX

you have to get 'S' version otherwise not worth it. I've driven it and it's quick and torquey, pretty loud for a stock car, Don't know if your uncle wants that.

When you buy a Porsche you buy the one which is made for "Men" and not for kids like boxter... Just buy 911 GT2 ;)
