Hello people, I'll be going on holiday in Japan for the summer, can't wait!!

I need some suggestions for places to visit, so far I'll be visiting Tokyo, Fuji mountains, Osaka and twin ring motegi. I've got two weeks worth of touring to do so ALL suggestions welcomed. From places to eat, sights to see and factorys to visit.

Begin!

osaka loop line :p

visit the tuning garages like J's racing and amuse and spoon sports of course

Spoon, type one, seeker and feels twin cam.
All near and in walking distance to ogikubo station :)

Nice!! I can go back anytime I want then, good to know there's a few things close by.

Any thoughts on electric city? I've read that it's a must go at night.

Akihabara? Very cool place!

Also shinjuku.
Ginza is also impressive for shops but £££

Try the "black eggs" at Mount Fuji visitor center and take the cable car. Def Shinjuku oh and Supper Autobaks in Tokyo.
Oh this is making me want to go again lol
Dunx

Lucky guy, always wanted to go to Japan.
Hit the osaka loop for some kanjo :p

I'll add some non car related stuff, lol.
For Tokyo-
-If you want to just do some shopping go Laketown. It might be a bit of a trek but the amount of shops is just mad.
-For a view over Tokyo go to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Free to visit the top. You can walk from Shinjuku along a cool underpass with seriously long conveyer belts. Some really nice restaurants in the underpass to.
-If you're into music visit Ochanomizu, has loads of music shops and instrument shops.
-Shibuya for the famous zebra crossing, and you can get a pic taken with the statue of Hachiko. There's a ton of shops to visit to.
-UENO zoo. Lovely place to visit. Blows London zoo away.

Let us know what you're into and I'm sure i can suggest some other places.

Roppongi!

I read that this place was a bit dodgy, there's stories of drinks being spiked although I don't drink and Yakuza being involved in the area. I've never talked to someone who has been though so could be just exaggeration.

Black eggs? Doesn't sound very appealing lol, what are they?
I think our hotel is in Shinjuku so should be good. I cant't wait to go, I've always wanted to go and the offer just popped up so I took it!

I'll definitely try lol, I've asked my mates but their not as interested in it as me. Will have to show them the Kanjo thread. :drive:

Great info buddy, it looks like we've done well getting the hotel booked in Shinjuku then as it's popped up a few times. As I'll be in Tokyo most of the time I don't mind more suggestions for Tokyo.

What about car parts, I would like some unique parts for the EK9, nothing big or bulky, also I love electronics so a place with a **** load of interesting electronics lol. Also more quiet sites, I've got mount Fuji but also temples or something similar.

Anything really as I want to make the most of the two weeks!!

Yeah that's the place, that's a must for me. I won't be doing much shopping to be honest. If I do shop it will be for car parts lol.

Visit the car auctions and buy a car haha, stick it on a boat to Southampton job done :) best shopping trip ever!

I would do love to mate but I have no money left lol. The holiday is being paid from my turbo funds so no turbo for a year. It is worth it though as I've always wanted to go.

Odaiba is an interesting place to visit.
You get a one day travel card for the mono rail and there's quite a few stops to visit.
Has a Toyota museum and a vintage car museum. Both are free to visit.
There's a shopping mall made to look like old Italy.
Fuji TV's studio is also there but you have to pay to enter.
They also have a miniature Statue of Liberty, lol.

Wish i could just book a flight over would love to go places like this in japan

Honda museum in suzuka. Correct me if im wrong.

It's in motegi.
At twin ring motegi circuit. :)

It's the middle of no where!
A huge place with loads an loads of parking, that was empty when I went. Almost creepy!
The Honda collection hall is amazing though!
