guys im already fed up with this piping size. some say at top 2.5 end 2.3,some say at top 2.3 end 2.5. so which one is correct and have more power gain?my car is b162a skunk2 cam stage 2.i can't test both piping as i have limited budget...really need ur advice....

most jdm companies make them the exhaust pipes 60.5mm ,they now better.

Have you read my exhaust thread? Here is a link: http://www.ek9.org/forum/air-intake-exhaust/7868-blinxs-official-intake-exhaust-thread.html

Now the simple answer is this: 2.5" piping will be better but will most likely require a custom setup as most after-market exhaust systems are 60mm (2.37"). Now while 2.5" will be better than 60mm, 60mm is not horrible either, its a small difference, either exhaust size should be a great performer but as said 2.5" has the advantage.

thanks bro...u already lighten up my day.

Glad i could help  Also i read your response in my exhaust thread, if parts are expensive in your Country do not feel so bad, most of the Japanese parts are over-priced and not even that good, same is true for some American parts too so you are not missing out too much :nice:

Also if NA is the way you want to tune your car i think you will be very happy with a 4.785 or 4.9 FD and light weight flywheel :nice:

yeah. i was also thought that way. that will be my last option.i want to try out turbo but since here in my hot climate country its not so suitable.and the gas price here is not stable.if global gas price is up, same goes the gas price here.so just keep my mind peacefully, no worries.say in US, what is ur gas price?for RON97?

so ur saying ur turbo car, ur previous NA car use 91octane?and thats the highest?mmmmm....hard for me to believe.im sure the gas is cheap.no wonder obiman did the b16a 200whp with 92octane.coz here the lowest octane is 92.this year my government will introduce ron95 and eliminate ron92.ron97 price will increased.so i have no choice to go for ron95 cause of financial issues.

i heard that UK also use ron99 and ron100.FYI, my country produce gas(petronas)so here many people are questioning why gas prices not the same as other countries that produce oil.this is government.we can't say more.

and FYI, for imported cars my country taxed 300%.do u believe that?thats why we can't afford to buy toyota, honda, especially European cars.im sure the government has its own reason.say if i pour ron95 to my b16a, would i need to tune my emanage or will it decreases my performance?

Your B16 will be absolutely fine with 95 octane, or 92 for that matter. The higher the octane, the less volatile the gasoline and the more resistance it has to pre-detonation (knock).
Your relatively stock B16A2, with stock compression, probably near stock ignition timing, and no turbo, could get by with the 92 octane.

When omniman made that DVD 92Octane was the highest available in CA, but now 91 is the highest, i can take a photo of a gas pump if you like to prove it, its sad but true my friend :(

As far as taxing imports i believe you, my parents are from Iran, they say it is the same over there, tax on import cars is 200%!!

But yes my b16b ran on 91octane NA and turbo, but my compression is very low, 8.3:1 and i was fully tuned for 91 octane both when NA and now with the turbo as i use AEM EMS. I may be wrong but i believe user TeamDiesel said he only has access to 87octane in his country :( and he has a fully built 2.0vtec with 220+whp!!

wow.my fren ur parents Iranian?so ur Islam?i thought ur pure american.ur staying in states right?yes i think im using std compression. so which is better?ron95 or ron97 interms of performance?they say that ron97 detonate fast so since the car have knocking sensor(correct me if im wrong)so the car's fine.

so lets say im using ron95 then i want to upgrade my my compression,so what r my choices?

Yes i am technically Islamic and i do live in USA, i was born in London though :nice:

Unfortunately i am not too familiar with how ron=octane so i am of no help on this, i suggest you start a thread with that question so that people who use RON in there country can answer :nice:
