so i just set up my paypal account and linked it to my bank account.
i was just wondering how i would buy something from somebody selling something online.
like what are the steps:

To make a payment you need to -

Login to your paypal account
Click the send funds tab
You will need the sellers email address or phone no
type in the ammout you want to send

your done .

If the person asks you to send it as a' Gift' to dodge the fees then make sure they are trustworthy as you will be unable to open a dispute to get the funds back.

I always detail exactly what I am paying for, the condition etc in the 'Notes' box which you will see as you go through the transaction, so if the item ends up being not as described you have some evidence of what you were expecting.

Even though PayPal goes on about how safe it is, it really isn't, as people know how to work the system to their advantage, so always make sure the company or person is legitimate before sending your money.

If done through ebay use the "pay now" button at the end of the auction and its very simple from there, just make sure the paypal option is selected for payment, very easy
