Thought I'd do a quick write up on these pads, just incase anyone else was contemplating them..

Needed a set of pads with quick delievery & at a reasonable price, so decided on these as I could get hold of em cheap & quick!

First impressions out the box, build quality was good, instructions clear, was looking promising. Also promised a low break dust formula, so was lookin forward to that!

Everything fitted up OK, and after whats been about 600 miles bedding them in I've been well impressed with the increase in performace over the stock pads, definately improved stopping ability, can really feel the difference with barely any fade at all.

BUT... man oh man, the DUST. It's unbelievable. Definately wont be using these pads again for that fact alone, cause I'm sure there are pads out there that will perform just as well without this amount of brake dust. In fact I'd be interested to know if anyone has any recommendations for future reference...

Yeah, as soon as I saw that title, brake dust came to mind. Lol.

I use the EBC yelow. They are rated as low dust and I can say that it's true, my wheel is always clean. Look at the peacture.

run them on track and give review, not heard much good about red stuff on track although lot of people rate yellow for track use

no such thing as really good pad and low dust

I run mines on track, and I can tell that they are low dust and also that they don't over heat. Even in a summer day (I live in Rio de Janeiro and our summer is realy hot).

isn't this pad track oriented?

get yourself some dixel pads they do a type M pad specially for white wheels low dust pad

Yes, but even when they are cold they work better then the stock ones.

Ok, but every track oriented pad WILL create dust, the endless pads generates like a pound of dust on a 3 lap run at t he track lol. So in my opinion this has to be normal

Next saturday I will go to the track and take a picture of my wheels just after the end. You guys will see how clean they are.

As I promissed, here we go. As everybody can see, my wheels finished cleaner them me. EBC yelow is realy a low dust pad.

How is the wear on the disc?

Generally with race compound pads, they are very abrasive when cold and leads to cool things like sparks and noise until it heats up to track operating temps.

i use ebc yellow stuff as well an find the brake performance very good an the dust build up is very low no matter how much or how hard u use them
