All in all yesterday was incredible and litrally made the last few years of saving, building an pain worth it all. First lap i was on with a Corsa on slicks and a VW cup race car again on slicks. Past both within a lap!!! I couldn't beleive it! As the day progressed i was gaining confidence. Had no hairy moments what so ever and drove well within my comfort zone. It took me a few laps to get used to how late the apexis where on some of the corners! I am used to batering it down mountain passes so these long high speed corners took some getting used to. Lots to learn still and i really need to get my temps more stable as after 4 laps the temps would rise a touch so i would back off. Unfortunatley my camera run out of power so i only got this vid from earlier on in the day. Not that fast but ok. As i sorted my gearing out later on and worked on my turn ins my lap times kept dropping :). Tyre screetch through Druids was imense and 100mph through island was again very cool..

looks awesome mate, will watch the video tonight,

Nurburgring still yes?

car looks well and you did very goo around there, especially as it was your first outing in the teg :nice:

I notice the passenger with a fduk and wgt helmet... :nice:

Great pictures and nice driving.

Nice Will! car looks well setup.

Sounds quite loud did you not have any problems with noise restrictions?

Sweet video. Oulton is a sensational track to drive on, I love cascades, flat out downhill then on the brakes through the left hander, simply awesome.

Nice driving man! Enjoyed the vid! Really liking the cage!

Car looks great in the photos! :)

Nice vid. Looks and sounds awesome.

Out of interest do you know what sort of lap time you got it down to in the end?

Cheers for the kind words people. Matt Nur would be amazing, I just hope i have the money for it!!!!

Ade, yeah i had a session on Friday but they wouldn't let me out as it failed massivley. Then had to run around finding a OEM backbox and fit it before Wednesday :). Spoon B pipe, decat, 98 mani and spoon N1 back box / OEM backbox depending on DB limits.

I was getting consistant 2:05s matey, but i was taking out passengers most of the day which has to count for something 80kg ballast which you can actually feel having an effect on power and turn in. But i just liked to see the look on there faces after as i have never made out that i can drive anything other than mundane and slowly lol (hence my mates comment at the start). Would be happy with 2min2sec times and i know exactly where i can make up bits of time so we will see. Need to get my oil cooler fitted and a larger rad me thinks :).

Haha lolz. I want Slicks and a dry sump too!!! 300HP would be imense! Remember, what you cant do with talent and balls you can do with more grip and power hahahaaaaa!

Car looks so stable. Looks like a nice track still. I took my car on track for the 1st time recently and it is such a buzz knowing you built it. Well done sir.

im getting baffled sump tomorrow :D this would be an awesome car to have come with
