Opinions on these custom 1 off wings for EK9's....

Ive just got these made for my race car.
They are made from fibreglass and they both together weigh spot on 1Kg.
They are widened by 50mm, but still follow the original lines to meet the front lenses.Fitment is perfect. The wings you see here are pre-facelift. As my own car is a facelift, im going to do some modding to get them to fit right, so i'l have a few more pictures when thats done.

Can I have the opinions of other owners....what do you think of the product as it is....
If there is enough demand i might be able to get sets made up at cost price for other EK9.org members.

Not feeling it personally but I'm sure once fitted correctly they'll look pretty good...
 
Imo they look awsome. But how do they look on with standard rear arches?
 
Not a fan myself, but that might be cause its not finished.

For this to work there will have to be some matching "race" styling and parts......
 
just wondering how these will look with normal rear arhces too :(
 
i like them but would really need to see them when its finished and painted
 
ditto everyone above... but i think when its finished it will look nuts :) any idea on the price for anyone else?
 
as above, can't say until its finished..
i think with a some nice aero's up front ( canards and splitter ) it could work well .. after all this is gonna be a track weapon !!!
 
After looking at the "finished" picture on your link i would say it looks good! pretty good price imo as well!

if they didnt have such an abrupt cut out on the top profile i think they could be very nice. still impressive work though!
 
Hmm, postage would be expensive and USCustoms would most likely charge you a high percentage in taxes.
 
We welded arch extensions onto the back panels and use 30mm spacers on teh back.
Its a good jopb but i personally dont like the back as it just looks too wide.
I think im going to leave the rear standard as theres not much to be gained with tyre grip.
 
will be interesting to see the finished article....
