I need to learn to weld someday!

My mate has done good though, can't see there being much flex in the subframe now :nerv:

nope, standard engine and bolt on's will do me fine for now. should go well with the shorter FD and diff also :)

Pretty much the same set up I want then so, but have to wait a while until I get the shorter fd as I've already gone way over my budget for my build! :eek:

got everything required for the swap minus a couple small bolts from honda, should be up and running mid week!

will update with more photos of the progress over the weekend, hopefully this thread will help a few people who are looking to carry out the swap
 
Great news Steve it's a shame you had to do all this work after the last engine but it will be worth it.

baird is a total hero! helped me out alot so far :)

i am knackered, but today saw good progress, box built and engine in.

Is it your combination of planning and knowledge that's gets it done this quick or what?
Just seems that most K20 builds I've seen have taken a month and yours will probably take just two weeks
 
If my b20 causes me any issues in the future I will be doing the same pal.

I know what will work and what won't, so was able to order the right parts fairly quick!

This is my only car so i'm keen to get it all done asap!

Helps that i am doing all the work myself too i guess
