Oil temp advice!

Hit 112 around the ring today!!
Should I be worried?
It's fresh Fuchs Titan 5w40...

Can't fit a cooler out here and have three days left!!
 
Also felt very sluggish when up to that temp,
May have beenmy paranoia though! :/

And severe brake judder also :(
Not ideal!!
 
Yeah that's fine. Seen a video where BMI take stock cars up to 140c. I wouldn't be happy if it was up at 130 but 112 is cool.
Brake judder isn't great though.

Oil pressure is just as if not more important.
 
Can I ask what temp you where at round brands? Mine barely came over 100.
 
at circuit zolder I hit 130°C. Running 5W50. Not to worried about it...
 
I never had gauges fitted at brands.
I'm literally in VTEC for 12mins straight, so it's getting a hard time.
Oil pressure is fine, sitting at around 76/80psi

12mins? you doing two laps at a time or something lol
 
You'll also find the altitude, temperature and hills pay a huge part on the performance at the ring. I'm always glad to get back home car feels great! Lol

Nothing to worry about at all, where is your temp gauge fitted?

With my temp gauge fitted at the oil filter my ek9 was reading 125*c at my local track with full length alloy rad, fuchs 5w40 and close ratio gearset.

Its a quick track and the car was constantly right up the revs but still nothing to worry about with good oil and a well maintained engine. I know plenty of people running b16a's on 10w40 semi all last year in a race series with no problems in the same conditions

Weather isn't ideal tbh, it's raining a lot again!
That track is SO slippy in the wet.

Temp sensor is fitted in sump for reference :)
 
Got upto 130degrees yesterday evening!
So need to do something as the weather isn't even warm!

Full length rad and oil cooler I guess?
Annoying on a stock b16!!
