Non type approved cat

After my o2 sensor dying in my Jordan its destroyed my cat (along with abuse when it was lower) I found on ebay 'non type approved' cats? How is this different to a oem one as I really dont fancy forking out near £600+ for a cat. Would they pass mot? I have a decat for the moment Im away to fit but come mot time I'll need a cat (plus decat is ridiculously loud lol).

Just get a second hand cat off a vti those spurious cats are hit and miss. Should be able to pick up a second hand one for around 50pounds

Or you could get a 100 cell high flow cat welded on at any exhaust shop. Makes it street legal, less stink, sound better, and performs same as a decat.

or just keep the de-cat on my jordan has passed mot 2 years in a row with a de-cat and a exhaust leak i didnt no about for a wile

A few mates suggested sports cat too might try get a quote. Not a fan of the decat makes my ears bleed driving it lol ridiculously loud
