no power help

hi people ,
so basically i went to go for a spin today and had no power at all in car i charged battery and still nothing no lights anywhere i took it out of garage last weekend and it was going no bother it was lying up all week as i was away any ideas whats up i checked all fuses and they all ok and checked the earths they look fine cleaned them also and also tried jumping car and nothing any help please ???
 
ya checked everyfuse in the car m8 nothing wrong with any of them
 
Have you a alarm or kill switch on car? When you say no lights is it just dash lights not working or headlights also? Could be the main relay
 
no have no alarm or killswitch . no lights at all in car never checked relays will go check now let ya no cheers
 
hmm went to check out the and there was lights in the dash and when i tried to turn it over there was just a clicking sound from engine bay ??? dont have new main relay to try so ill get one tomorrow is there any way of checking if its ****ed before i buy new one ???
 
This could be caused by dodgy/corroded earths.

Main relay could be a possibility.

Clicking noise (could be) starter motor signaling your battery doesnt have enough voltage to turn the engine over.
 
...if the battery was low when you last used it, sitting for a week may have drained it enough to not be able to start the engine up again...you might want to just recharge your battery fully then put it back in? just a thought.
 
so i done all the things yas but bought new battery and cleaned all the earths againg and bang away she went flying now cheers for the replys guys much appreciated
