Newbie with EG6 & EK3

Hi guys,

Just a quick intro recently purchased and ek3 for my girlfriend so thought I would sign up for some info and maybe parts. I have EG6 which I have practically built from ground up, and keep changing it.

Here's just a couple of old pics for the basics.





 
Thanks mate, like i say it has changed alot since then and is keep changing. I,ll get a thread going on each of the cars when i get chance.
 
nice eg, what did you use to paint the block and head black? any primer before the color? might do this to mine!
 
I actually stumbled across a very good engine paint by accident. Its Halfords own engine enamel in a satin finish. No primer before its straight to metal and it dries with a really nice finish. I have used it loads.







The engine had two coats as the paint is thin although covers well. And the Anti roll bar is also painted with the same stuff.
 
Mmmmmm EG6's are sooo nice.

Thanks for all the comments on the EG. I will try get some pics of the EK over the weekend. Only just got it so its dirty and standard HAHA
 
It's a thunder grey pre facelift. Just sorted the water leak issue at the rear tonight. New light seals and siliconed the rear panel vents
 
Pictuers of the EK after a quick clean. Still need to get this on a ramp so i can see whats going on underneath. I know it needs a couple of bush's just not sure which yet.
