Hi everyone. posting from houston, tx in the United States. We don't ride horses, FYI. :nice:

Here's my old Integra. She was beautiful, but I've moved on to a new hatch.

Mine was the dark gray 94-97 on polished fat 5s. Unfortunately, she gave out on the new owner. I believe he's rebuilding, so I'm looking forward to his new progress. Here's the Civic, a '99 Civic Hatchback DX model.

I started redoing the exterior the day I got it. It had CTR front/rear lips and 12K HIDs sitting on stock OEM hubcaps. The old owner kept his hubcaps and I opted for these Honda Optional wheels.

removed the HIDs for some Silverstar Ultra's, removed the CTR front lip (the rear grew on me  ) and bought an OEM Hood bra. Here is how she sits now, and soon she'll be getting more exterior pieces. Enjoy!

Nice car, just a quick question, why people in the USA install that "masks" in front of the car? :)

lol you mean the hood bra?

well to be honest, not all of us do. actually, most people are into the "jdm" thing. jdm this, jdm that. it's pretty much annoying, at least to me. I feel that not enough people represent the USDM style enough, so I try and mostly buy things that are available to everyone here.

hood bras, mudflaps, rocking OEM wheels, it's all another style. just like some people are still into bodykits. lol

anymore questions about us in the US? I'm sure there are other members here from America as well.

Welcome to the site Goose, there are plenty of US users including myself.
So do you have the hood bra for rock chips or style?

the hood bra is for both, function and form.

I figure you can't go wrong with something that looks good and protects the paint

edit: thanks for the welcome guys

DFW in the house I see.

I've heard that if you leave them on for long-ish periods of time, moisture can get trapped and rot the paint? Never used one myself so couldn't say, I suppose it's just one of those things to check every now and then and be aware of :)

I think they can look cool on some cars, if, like you say, they are rocking the USDM style.

Welcome from the UK ;)

This is true in the U.S. its all about rotas and slipstreams and JDM and OEM. Because it separates u from all the ricer fags with body kits and 3.5'' exhaust tips. so we just stick to function. and good deals.

Its cool for like a road trip to protect it from bugs and rocks. But 4 longterm unless you got a bra that covers the whole car, be looking forward to a two tone paint job of before and after uv damage, scratches to your front clip hood etc. :secret::naughty::lol: nice hatch, pretty clean how much $ did u pay for her..?

looks like a wel nice start!!! i like the car bra's but as said be careful about dirt / moisture getting under it cus itl just act like sandpaper on ur paint! is that the oem spoiler just tilted? looks good! :D

No it's some weird carbon fiber spoiler that i'm not a big fan of.

idk, cf on Hondas and Acuras just kinda makes the cars look cheap to me. However I would like to know what companies make spoilers similar to the BYS ones on 5th gen civics for our hatches. It's a guilty pleasure of mine =[ hah. i'm really looking into different wheels but i have no idea what I want. Nothing aftermarket, i don't think.. suggestions anyone?
