New slow yoke 13.08 1/4 mile videos

Bought this ek4 fairly standard when i got it.
With an idea to build it for daily driving and for drag racing.
Standard engine spec.
Bar 4-2-1 manifold
decat and hks catback exshuast system under axel.
Cusco coilovers and ssr 15 rims.
ANd carbon spolier and laguna front spittler(i no ya :lol!: )
camera broke so lost the pics of when i bought the car but here is a small few from the done deal add. will update with work done later tonight.

what is being done is.
Outside first then
the engine is being built to last longer as the da6 had to many failures for my liking so all parts basicly and going to be new in the engine.
must parts ordered cant wait
Rod bolts
oil pump
water pump
timing belt
valve springs and retainers
head gasket
main bearings
big end bearings
stem seals
piston rings.
new oil seals
Slightly upreated cams either ctr or a stage1 cam not sure yet.
f1 stage 1 clutch
and the s80 4.7 final drive

and a remap not sure if i'll go for crome or neptune this time thinking neptune. not sure which man to map it either yet. mr inspector or mr taylor :lol!:
and choice some nice tyres

So start'd with some colour coding and lowering the back still to lower the front

height before and after

Then got me carbon lip and typer grill.grill not in yet doh and no real pics of lip on the car

Some parts that came in the post.
First me silencer. that we can switch on and off from inside the car

done small clean under the bay before i do a wire tyck at some stage

Just need to get the ecu to remap the car now :thumbup:

Finally this arrived was mad for one of theses for ages just have to learn to use it now :lol!:

Few other little bits new timing belt head gasket and valve springs

:thumbup: 3rd and 4th Synchro was omn its way out when me s80 was in the da6 so said i'd get it fixed before i put it into the ek with the new engine.
Never chanced opening a gearbox and with the new job and it being an s80 said i'd give it a miss this time round and dimantle a cheaper box when i have time.
So waterford lad kindly drop it down to MR taylor him self to fix the issue in the box.

So sent me block and crank up to westward eng savage work done. all the reports where right savage man at his job
Crank mircopolished

Block resufaced and honed

Some new bearings

New rings

And a new tool to do some playing lol

But have my fidanza flywheel on the way and looking up about what manifold to get. some of the manifolds i am looking at.

It was way easyier to put in a engine with it rather than an engine crane
