Hi all,

I'm a little bit late on this as I've already made a few posts elsewhere, but hey ho!

Just like to say an official Hello and introduce myself.-

I recently bought a C's supercharged EK9 from a former member called Ant, think his user name was Antsek9? Anyway, I'm loving being back in the seat of a Honda, was away from them for about a year and missed them so much i had to come back, and that was after owning such cars as a Scooby Sti Type R coupe, and M3 Evo, and a chipped up Audi S3, but they just seemed boring!, bar the Scooby really cos I must admit I did have some fun in that, but I really missed the high revving nuttiness and noise of a vtec and wanted to come back in a pretty big way, so what better Honda than an EK9?? and a supercharged one at that! :D

I'm a massive Honda fan, owning a string of Honda's such as a Vortech supercharged crx delsol (which i built from scratch, spent £16k on it and had a 7 page feature in J Tuner magazine) UK DC2, EG6 SiR2, Civic Jordan (Spoon spec'd up engine and fully carbon'd) and a well sorted EK4 SiR which was also very well know within the civic community.

The spec on my 9 is currently as follows:-

Engine:

- C's Compressor
- HKS Jasma 4-1 manifold
- HKS catback exhaust
- DC Sports de-cat pipe
- Skunk2 Stainless steel valves
- 440cc injectors
- Walbro uprated fuel pump
- Inline pro uprated headgasket
- T.M Works uprated HT leads with built in earth straps
- Direct coil ignition pack
- Full earthing kit
- AEM 3 bar wideband map sensor
- Yashio Factory radiator with 1.3 bar cap

Management:

- DTA fast S40 standalone management, currently mapped by Henry AKA 'The Kat' (NOt happy with the currently state of tune so getting it re-mapped by the man Mase himself next week.

Chassis:

- Tein Super Street coilovers
- Aftermarket front upper strut brace
- OEM 15" wheels with Yoko Parada spec 2's

Brakes:

- NSX calipers up front
- Discs look to be Spoon grooved (possibly)

Interior:

- Car was imported with a blue Sparco bucket seat on drivers side but now has a pair of MINT red recaro's
- C's short shifter with extendable arm
- Razo gearknob removed for mint OEM titanium gearknob
- AEM Wideband A/F ratio gauge on steering column
- Mint OEM mats
- 300mm Momo Race steering wheel

Exterior:

- Litetuned Carbon fibre bonnet
- Genuine Spoon carbon fibre rear spoiler
- Wind deflectors (to be fitted)
- Number plate tilt bracket (to be fitted)

I will get some pics up of it very soon, extremely busy at the mo. I will also start up a build up thread as I have a lot of plans for the car so look out for that! :nice:

Thanks for looking! :)

Cheers guys, yep I will give the car a wash and get some pics up asap.

blinx- I'm loving it at the mo, I just generally love honda's full stop but this is a bit special and with the plans I've got for it hopefully should make it even better. Mainly visual changes and chassis strengthening but should make a nice impact I think.

:welcome: mate!

Cant wait to see some more pic's of this beast!
What plan's have you got for it?

what sort of power is it pushing out?

That is a very good example

Welcome Mate !! - Cant beat the Vtec Scream !! - Ive owner alot of big powered cars in past, Scooby Sti, Pulsar Gti-R, 200sx S13 and a super mental nova 2.0 !! ha.. Cant wait to see some pics !

Cheers - Andy

:welcome: mate!

You cant beat a screaming vtec:nice:

Get some pic of the 9 up!

Hi and welcome dude!

This car is truely amazing! I've been out in it when Ants had it and it goes really well. My favourite part has to be the C's short shifter with extended arm.

Cheers for the welcome guys! :)

As far as I know it's running a stock bottom end, or that's what we're assuming when it comes to getting it remapped. I'm getting it remapped by the legend himself tomorrow morning,- mase. :D so can't wait to see what magic he can do with it as I'm not happy with the current tune at all and I'm convinced it should be making quite a bit more power, as is mase after seeing him last night.

The only dyno print out I have is for 225bhp, this I'm assuming is at the flywheel cos it certainly doesn't seem like it's at the wheels, and mase said it should be producing around that sort of power at the wheels for 9-10 psi, or at the very least just over 200 whp.

If anyone is around Aylesbury tomorrow morning and fancies seeing it get remapped we're be at DSA from 8:30am tomorrrow. :D (the car will more than likely be filthy and look a mess though! :( )
