Things to look out for mainly are rusty arches, not usually a problem on the imports as most will have been undersealed but pretty common in EK4's nowdays, any smoking in vtec isn't usually a good sign; and distasteful mods seem to be a problem, avoid ones with 17 inch ripspeed alloys and angel eyes.

Other then that hope you find a decent motor and maybe some punctuation lol!

Yeah dude I puff at vtec hard... Just fried piston rings, expensive, but not a huge deal if you keep oil in it.

Lol sorry using my fone Its hard to see lol i might import 1 but the yen is so dear atm i may just get one from northan ireland they realy work out just as cheep so my eyes are open

welcome to ek9.org, yet another making the leap from toyota to honda :win:

Welcome mate, where abouts in N.I are you from? :)

I would look down south for a decent ek9/4, as there seems to be a few clean ones about.
I'm currently looking for one when my car sells! :)

Look out for high miles, poor bodywork and rusty arches.. Blue/White smoke once the engine has warmed up isn't great either so wath out for that!! :D

Thanks lads yea not realy put off by hi miles my teg had just over 100 thousand it was standerd and no smoke no rust and rollin roaded at east coast at 199 bhp but must of been wel looked after

Welcome to the forum bud , good luck on your hunt ;)
