hey guys .. ok so i have a ej6 .. stock setup except coilovers.... i was interested in going with tokico struts and tanabe springs... now the ride im looking for is comfortable yet sharp .. meaning i want a nice drop and good handling but i still want that comfort that springs offer rather than coilovers.. any opinions? tokico illuminas .. i think thats how its spelled and i think it was called comfort max .. tanabe ... thanks guys :please:

You cannot handle good, be comfortable, and be low to the ground. You have to put those 3 things in order and find out what you value most to least then try to find a setup that suites you.

well im not really looking for a huge drop just something lower than stock with comfort and better handling than stock...??? i mean i understand exactly wat u mean it can be a race car and luxury at the same time

Consider a set of "Eibach Sportline" springs with a decent set of shocks (tockico illumna, kyb agx, koni yellow, etc), a friend of mine has these on her integra with factory shocks, the drop is perfect with no gap and the car rides as close to stock as possible. It's actually the best riding car i have ever been in that was that low.

recently picked up a h&r sports cup kit from tirerack for my ek4
a bit low at the front but it still rides great

progressive springs>linear springs for the street

I have been in a car with Tanabe Sustec suspension. Was rather comfy.

yea my brother used to have a gsr with tokico struts and tanabe springs and his friend had the same setup on his ej6.. they were both in love with this setup thats why i was wondering and then both were decent on handling .. way better than stock lol ... but thanks guys info really appreciated

Why not get the EK9 setup? Struts, springs and swaybars. That is pretty comfy too.

i recently got a good deal on some struts and springs i picked up for $200... it was tokico HP series struts and tien springs .. not sure which springs but they are pretty comfy .. nice ride like stock .. except more responsive .. im impressed .. butwill still upgrade from here
