right i nearly ready to do the b16a and b18c4 conversion just got one thing stopping me.

im trying to look for a head gasket that will increase the compression ration so i dont lose to much comp since the b18c4 has lower comp piston then the b16a( only if the b16a piston fitted the b18c4 :().

i found a buddy club one which is 0.5 which i have no idea if that is thiner then stock or how much comp increase it will give, but i have emailed the store for further information.

lastly i have the b18c4 block just searching for the gasket is ther anything else i need apart from the head bolts and gasket ?

Thanks

That head gasket is thinner that stock but to be honest mate i dont think a thinner head gasket is really going to make that much diffrence. If i was you i'd pause the build for a bit longer and get your self a set of jdm itr pistons and that head gasket. If ime correct saying this your c/r will bump up to 11.5:1 whick is sweet for a street car. If it was me i'd order a bottom end gasket set, a set of acl race series bearing and a new water pump just to make sure ive got a bomp proof bottom end :))

ahhh thats not much is is blinx :( yeh that sounds cool rich i will look into that :)

I have the same b18c4 bottom end with ITR pistons and rod along with a buddyclub head gasket. B16a2 head with ek9 cams, springs and retainers. and head skimmed approx 9thou from standard.
I've tried to work out my CR but it baffles me :(
Could you work out a rough guess for my CR Rich777?
Sorry to bomb the thread k1ryu :D

Correct me if ime wrong but the b18c4 crank is the same stroke and the b18c. If you have jdm itr pistons then your c/r will be around 11.5:1 which is great for a street car.
