Item for sale: 1998 Championship White Ek9
Reputation: General
Price: SOLD
Paypal?: No cash on collection
Location: Birmingham
Condition: Excellent
Description: The time has come to sell my EK9, I've loved every minute of it and still am but my insurance is high as it is and come renewal time, it will be even higher as everyones insurance has gone up :(

The car is 'R' reg, it says 145,000km on the clock but it was converted when it was on 120,000 (74,000 miles) and I have the certificate to prove that. Then done 25,000 miles on top so it's just under 100,000miles. The body work is near mint condition, the front bumper has had a full respray recently due to the paint chipping and the alloys have been fully refurbished about 3 months a go. It's got around 4-5 months tax on it, MOT til March 2012.

The car has the following:

- Cat 1 Alarm
- 6000k HID lights
- Engine torque dampener
- Induction kit (not sure of brand, came with the car but have oem filter box as well if needed)
- Tegiwa adjustable decat
- Fujitsubo RM01a exhaust
- New oem Honda clutch (fitted about a month a go)
- Fidanza lightened flywheel
- Hel brake lines
- Spoon spark plug leads
- Tanabe Pro SS fully adjustable coilovers
- Carbon fibre mirrors (Spoon style)
- Carbon fibre rear spoiler (same shape as oem)
- Brand new red Honda badges (genuine from Honda, not the cheap Ebay ones)

It's last been serviced 3000 miles a go with a Hamp oil filter, Mobil oil and new gear box oil.

Interior of the car is standard, it's in good condition, driver bolster worn as usual but nothing major. Seats, carpets and mats are in pretty good condition.

Bad points: If you want to be really picky, the rear drivers light is slightly chipped on the edge and the drivers window closes really slow (still works but really slow, specially when the engine's switched off but I think that's common on Civics)

I have priced it as best as I can, if you think it's too much, pm me, please don't sh*t on my thread. Serious buyers only, no time wasters, viewer won't be disappointed and will be guaranteed to buy (if genuine).

I think that's everything, please feel free to ask any questions.

Cheers, could be just the window motor too as it was like that on the passengers side too when I first got it. I got another motor and it got sorted

Why is everyone selling the 9's at the min there is loads for sale :( all the best on the sale mate

Try some grease down the window runners, or open up the door cards and grease the runners, should work mate.

Cars looking really nice and fresh mate put some engine pics up might help the sale. :)

Defo not priced too high, the market is just slow atm for all car sales except for the cheap and economical ones!!

never too high mate as said theres a load of 9s for sale right now due to insurance costs etc jus hold out for the right offer

This is my old car and I can say it took me a while to find one as clean as this, it's a really good ek9 and was serviced regardless the cost of genuine parts and quality oil everytime. I bought the car genuinely from manchester then sold it to a friend of mine in north wales then bought it back again because I knew it was a good one and had cash at the time but had to sell it again due to family commitments to another mate of mine in north wales

Cheers for that mate, I bought it from a guy called Steve in North Wales. The car was very very clean when I bought it and now with the wheels refurbished and front bumper resprayed, the cars looking mint!!

It's had some bits added from when you last had it and still pulling strong :)

Don't sell it man. You can not find another one like this with the same money.
Hold on unti the insurance pop up, like I said maybe nit as bad as you think.
