Looks good. How much you will to spend on lca. I could search a few sites while im looking for things that i will do to my civic once i get one.
 
started fitting these coilovers today. its a right effort. only got 1 corner done!!!
dont think the underside of this car has ever been touched in 14 years, everythings rusted and coroded. ive even had to buy a mains powered grinder to help.

finers crossed for tomorrow!
 
Good luck dude, take your time. nothing worse than rushing it and breaking something which puts you out of action. :nice:
 
yeh, ive got the rear passenger side done now. but i drove up the road to turn it round ready to do the otherside tomorrow and there it a strange knocking noise coming from the coilover........ will look into it tomorrow whilst i do the drivers rear.
 
Any pics of what the car looks like with one side done. to see the difference from stock to modded
 
Lol make sure you dont mix the front and rear springs as they are diffrent, and if you need any help shout us.
 
Yeh its all going quite well. Done both the rear coilovers now. Just a slight knocking from the washer and nut on the top of the top hat but nothing major.
Fingers crossed for the fronts tomorrow.

Any hints or tips?
 
right guys and girls. it only took me 3 days a grinder a dremal a few trips to B&Q and some blood and sweat, but FINALLY!

+ I thought you had a front lip and vti mid spoiler. why dont you put them on

yeh its had that dent since before i bought it.

im thinking of getting hold of some wolfrace street octanes in 15" refurbed bronze

i dont like the midspoilers on civics and the lip needs fibre glassing and painting, so will see if i can be bothered lol.

cheers spikey. getter get saving for a set then. used ofcourse. then re-furb them myself.
 
its price and availability more than anything. but if im honest. i dont wana go down the motorsport/race image. its only a 1.4 after all
