My Northern America Sedan w/ a dash of oem flavor...

Lookin good, progressing pretty fast too...

Thank You. Before I purchased the car I Began collecting parts. I knew I wanted a black/white 96-98 civic. So model specific bits were easy.

for original paintwork its incredible mate :) you obviously have the nice weather compared to us in scotland lol all we see is grit snow and ice :) and even in the summer months a nice load of rain haha you must polish her to death haha

HAHAHA YES! California sunshine!:)) I actually polish plenty.

I decided to take my chances at the junkyard today! Bamm 1st car I touched, as fate would have it....BINGO! Scored a minty resv. I was happy, and was ready to leave when I decided to just browse and see what I could find. Low and behold after browsing I was heading out when I bumped a DC, Upon a shakedown for loose parts I noticed it had the rear disc w/ the rotors removed exposing abs rings. So I bent down to find ABS SENSORS!!!! YIPPY! YAY ME!!

Abs sensors removed w/ pigtail :)

Saw some rapped & abandoned sedans ()

anyway back to the updates my new reservoir from a cb accord

brought them home & cleaned them up. Old damage Vs Replacement used

I let my primer dry overnight then added 2 light coats of paint to my parts
Booster received satin blk

MC received satin aluminum

oh yeah almost forgot I dropped my rims & tires off to get mounted an balanced, just a quick shot of the stem mounted.

I also purchased some better lug nuts w/ locks ;)

So I dropped the final coat on the MC Today,

Then I picked up my rims & tires from being mounted and balanced, unfortunately they came back w/ enevitable nicks due to the balancing machine, tire iron due to the stiff sidewall and clamping for of the machine. Nothing I cant touch up!!

Rota C10 Custom blk w/ BFG KDW Sticky stuff 205/40/16

....I'm itching to do visors tomorrow! ;) enjoy!

Thanks Kitami & Joshua. It was so exciting to buy a sedan, and I never planned on modifying it but I loved it so much, one part became two, two became three, and now it's snowballing.

What would you do for a bloody thumb..…?

...the topping to the cake, the reason you don't by ebay fogs unless they are depo. Depo is the best aftermarket quality by far and these no name off brands suck. My Psngr. side already cracked ??? and the adhesive has given way to the lense :(

IMG_0505.jpg

I just got back from buying back & trading my old CF hood, since the guy was going to paint it anyway I traded him +$15. I still need to swap over the factory rubber, flushmount hood pins, and adjust it when I install my head lights.

my old hood I sold and later bought back :hugs::thumbup::thumbup: needs a buff

Today I decided to attempt to apply the smoke lamin-x to my SiR headlights

laminx
1262468555.jpg

the applied pics. I did ok, could have been better, but I can say I learned quite a bit. After the install Ill see how I like them on. If not ill remove the film and try to trade for a set of CTR's.
1262473575.jpg

I'm not a fan of mixing theme's. I love the CTR, but there are no such thing as CTR saloon, so I will stick w/ actual products made for saloon's. Thanks though! Maybe if I found a real clean set I would hahahaha

I suppose, I just voted for them because 1 they give you the look your going after (Smoked?) and 2 it won't hinder your Lighting like this "Tint" will.

True. My lights probably could illuminate better, but while I'm experimenting w/ tint I can still see just fine. It's not out the ? but I'm happy as is right now, plus any part w/ "r" in it just suffers from retarded price inflation.

^+1

Your probably not gonna like this suggestion but you can always go with DEPO Headlights, they have "Black Housing" lights. Seen a few sets in person and there real quality, fitment was that of OEM.

Then a nice set of Philips Xtreme's or Osram Nightbreakers would finish it off...

aweeeeeeeeeeeeee depo, thats a no no no, LOL. I rather have a tint film I can rip off whenever I'm ready. The reduced light output is not that bad.
