was away drag racing on sunday there a few days ago and managed to pulll

13.95 sec's @104mph

and thats with crappy road tyres

looking into R888's and CE28n's along with a carbon boot

I think dynos tend to chat **** lol...... With your mods you should be putting out more then that i would of thought and your time up the quarter doesn't add up to only 176HP....

Oh, Where you on the TGTT forum by any chance a few months back now... Thinking of a glanza or something? I recognize the pic of your VTS in your avatar?

well using a wee calculator i found on a website i put my quarter mile time and weight and it said i should be 210 bhp so i dunno.if anyone asks i just say im 174.8 bhp proven.then they see me pull away like a train:drive:

ive been on TGTT for years now, im the one with the 300+BHP 2.0litre turbo starlet, not sure if you would remember.

They are a good bunch on there you just have to settle in like most forums.

But yeah i only made 168hp on my stock B16B and it goes a hell of alot better then what the dyno says it should be.... Dynos generally are a load of tosh, but hay........

Anyway, keep it up, thats a real tidy example.

yea i remeber you with the 2.0 starlet.its mostly christy the mod.think his names 97 glanza or something like that.he sits on that forum waffling shite and to be honest i know him and he doesnt even know what a spark plugs do in an engine or how to blow up a wheel.

hes convinced that glanzas are the best car ever made and that standard on standard a glanza will beat an sir civic.BULLSHIT!!. glanzas are boost restricted in 1 and 2 gear so by the time a glanza hits 3rd the civic would be finished and parked up waiting to gloat

and my saxo vts destryed his glanza as well but he wont admit it

lol, yeah i know Christy. Hes pretty new to the forum and became a mod quickly because of his (I.T) knowledge, nothing to do with motor knowledge. Well i wont get involved with that side, you know the chap personally, i cant comment too much haha......

Although i will say there was a thread about an SIR vs a starlet stock on stock, and i actually did say that the SIR would come out better especially higher up the gears... the CT9 turbo runs out of puff after a little while, plus being only a 1.3 doesn't help too much with top end pull......

I take it your saxo was a modified in some way? they can become nippy little motors them VTS's...........

lol, yeah that will show him what these 9's are made off... A good Vtec around some decent corners, you really will find it hard to beat......

I own a highly tuned starlet as well as an EK9 now and the feel of the 9 is soo much better/build quality etc.... amd handling is unbelievable really.

Straight line power obviously there isn't a touch as my starlet was running around 330BHP when hitting 1.2bar weighing only 900KG was a bit of a lighting lol.......

The VTS do respond well to breathing mods/stripped out too you can make them a proper little toy.
