cheers bud, and i got a mate to ask some guy who ships him parts for private builds and he got it all setup for me, all i had to do was pay the dude through paypal and he shipped i over coz i know his mate lmao sweeeet!!! was well chuffed only downer is that there`s no history but the guy saidit had 120,000kms on the clock so its abou 60-70,000 miles which aint to shabby. if i can get all the shitty paint off the rocker cover i`ll get it painted up and put piks of that and the plug cover up all fitted. oh and the other PAIN IN MY ASS is that the dickhead who delivered it managed to snap the oil pressure switch clean off!! gorilla fisted twat!!

dude get me a deal sorted too =P thats pretty good mileage lol. ufft unlucky man. but looking forward for when the conversion is finished =)

well here`s what i`ve been up to, i removed my chipped and scuffed rocker cover along with the spark plug cover and gave the both a degrease inside and out

cheers pal, cocked th finishing touches on the rocker up earlier so im going to sort it first thing tomorrow and i`ll get piks up as soon as it`s looking how i want it.

It looks very well? But if your like me i know what you mean just being an ocd perfectionist! :p

well yeah i just think that if your gunna do something... do it right!! basically im going to paint the raised lettering black as im going to go with red/black over entire car until i finally respray it black. but i tried stamping it and i got overspill and looks shite now, so iv gotta get the white spirit out and remove it and retouch it before i attempt it again with a paintbrush :nerv:

as you may have seen... i`ve been working on refurbing my rocker cover and i made the finishing touches this morning so here she is in all her glory!!

Cheers buddy, Had to hand paint the raised lettering!! And i can assure u it was a major pain in the ass, But im well happy with it and reckon it was well worth it.

hey mate,
that rocker cover looks great, Top job on that one bud, little touches like spraying the bolts make a difference.
coming along nicely now..

still can't believe you got this for £350.... thats just silly.. :))

Nice project you have there :). That rocker looks awesome mate, and I agree, spraying the bolts and washers adds a nice finishing touch.

cheers for the comments guys, its nice when people appreciate the time and effort that you`ve put in, makes it worth while. and yeh it was an absolute steal but... the guy who still has the loom, exhaust mani, drieshafts and ecu has gone into hospital and i cant get my bits till he`s out so thats abit **** but hey ho it`ll be here in time for the con next month... keep your eyes peeled for that!!! coz once the b`s in i`ll get vids and plenty of piks as i`ll have the tanabe on and a nice long arm ( custom sprayed... once it arrives :p )

very very nice mate. Im putting a jdm b16a in my EG. Got the exact same setup as you for £450. What colour and brand of can was it you used for the cover ?

i used my favourite paint for rockers.. halfords own tool box red, none of this stupid high temp ****... just plain old paint. but i will say that if you want it the same as mine then use white primer as grey does dull it abit, and DO NOT LACQUER IT (the heat will make the lacquer go orange) but will be fine if you dont. and cheers for the comment bud.. im well chuffed with it!! :nice:
