many thanks guys, well i just get bord and practise lots, im well pleased with the rocker as i new it was going to be a pain to get it how i wanted it but looks wicked and the intake... well i wasn`t sure how that would come out but i new how i wanted to do it before i even ordered it lol.. think it looks sweet though. what do you think of my newest spray job???

dude,correct me if i'm wrong but if you ain't used high temp paint then surely it's all gonna flake off and crack ?

looks good, hopefully get an update soon with the engine in :))
has there been any mods to the shell it's self ?or you gonna keep it proper sleeper :p
 
naaa high temp paint is a rip! i was running a 300bhp astra coupe turbo and the rocker i did on the was with the same paint and it was fine. trust me.. high temp paint is just expensive paint lol, and the engine is going in the second week of may so keep an eye out for that... piks and vids will follow!!!

as for chassis mods.. im affraid its completely standard for the time being but iv got big plans.. its just finding the money... baby`s due 1st of june so just doing what i can as and when i can...

Nice, shame you're so far as I would be after a few parts for my EK3 runaround if you will be selling any remains, looking for 14'' wheels to put winter tyres on & in need of exhaust manifold as well, mine's cracked a wee bit... BTW, if it is 1.5 ils then it does have vtec, mine has the same badge at the back and is bog standard. It is not changing the cam profile, it only pushes the single cam a wee bit, so it engages an extra valve per head when under heavy load. So when driven sensibly, it will be in 12V mode, when pushed it will engage extra 4 inlet valves and go to 16V mode, that's it!

cheers buddy, and i dont know about the vtec thing as i drive it pretty hard when im in a rush and it just doesn`t move!! slow as a turd but it wont be for long ;) if you were willing to pay the courier fees then ur more than welcome to scavenge my friend, it`s only going to sit in my shed until it sells otherwise.. but its up to you pal. and the wheels have to stay im affraid... i want new ones but im poor lmfao!!
