From US, a firm called C wings inc. The mount is CF too, so should look great! But I want to paint the end wings body color like the Swiss photo shoot pic. hehehe
 
jugz, if are you going 2 keep spoiler CF you might have 2 put some coats of clear on it as CF tends to fade with time. also depends on company you buy it from as well. oh and always remember even if it says it already has clear coat on it, put more coats of clear on it anyways. you can never have enough coats of clear :D
 
i too am awaiting delivery of one of these. when u say clear what do u mean, what should i use? thanks
 
Bucc-i is right, you should take it to the body shop and add more clear coat on to it. I once had a Aluminum Racing Spoiler from Konig and it faded in two months. So I had to get it re-done.
 
Wow, I didn't know that? i might as well get my bonnet done as well then right?

I estimate it weighing half of the stock spoiler. It should be arriving very soon... I'll take some close up pics of it... Aparrently it is very high quality Grade A
 
When I say clear I mean clear coat. It goes over the paint 2 give it that shine. Remember 2 use a clear coat that has some kind of UV protectant n it. Y don't they give these things an SPF rating, I don't know. Oh and jugz, all CF companies say there stuff is grade A even though they not! I'm not saying u bought substandard CF. Just "buyer beware" that's all.

Swampy: Actually got it from a guy on ebay selling all sorts of CF parts. He doesn't seem to be selling anything atm, I'll message him.

Bucc-i: Thanks, I didn't know CF weaves could fade? Is it the CF material or gel coat that fades? I definitely will be spraying more clear coat on top and my bonnet. Thanks! I'll only find out if its A grade or not when I get it... :D
 
hi i got mine delivered today is there a guide anywhere on how to fit it and drill the holes etc? any help appreciated
 
Are you sure that's necessary?
Mine, which I got from Seibon, was a mere bolt-on item. 5 minute job
 
no mines not bolt on i need to wire up the brake light, and mount the spoiler to the part that attaches to the car somehow, no nuts or bolts came with it?! have I got a dodgy one? anybody got pics of a seibon one? thanks
 
Mine came in one piece, although there are two seperate parts. Bolted together by manufacturer I guess. No brake light.

hmmm that seibon ones looks lovely..and no doubt cracking quality.

easy to fit???? how much did you pay if you dont mind us all knowing??

Yeh how much for that seibon one? That seibon one doesn't seem to have good weaving on the wing bit though... I'll have to check mine when it comes.
