Would you not got a spoon direct air flow pipe instead of the plastic pipe you have put in?
Too much money for it

Ive already asked rvm this, but I'll ask you aswell jugbugz After trying the above intake mod, and the j's racing intake, which setup dyou recommend?
whats the retail on the power fc? its a new ecu and controller ye?
having a hard time finding a uk dealer. is it something youd recommend even if most mods i will be doing over the next year or 2 will be NON internal. intake,exhaust/manifold etc.
cheers jugbugz....sorry to ask one more question...does it come with a seperate real time display unit for the car then? or do you plug in the commando module and monitor that.
I think the Commander was initially optional but now is mandatory to pay for it along with the Power FC. I didn't want to buy it because I WON'T use it in my car here cuz our police has "problem" with Civics!Power FC comes with Commander that will provide you real time display, redline point, vtec point etc etc at the touch of your fingers. The commando plugs into a socket(looks like your keyboard socket) on the ecu box.
This is difinitely worth the money because why pay so much for a pre-tuned ecu when you can have both for the same price???

Isn't that a bit dangerous to change your settings every now and then?lol! Just hide it... Anyway it's a very very handy device. I can set and know anything, anywhere, anytime.

What if you mess up for example the mixture, ignition, timing.......
hey guys im new here i just bought my new js racing c/f intake for my ek4 and its sounds and goes like a monster!
Just don't touch the mixtures and timings. you can always just play a bit with Vtec kick in and redline, but if you know how to do minor adjustments then it's very very useful. Oh, and theres a trick that if you take your car into for service or a shop to get something done to it, you can always set your redline at 3000rpm so that they can't just go out and thrash your car LOL
Also, you'll have all the monitoring you need.
