Havent posted here in a long time folks :D
So i bought my EK9 just before summer 2007, didnt have it too long before i discovered it was an animal around the track :D A little too fast fot it's own good...
Here it was in all its glory...

and then september 2007 this happened...

and after about €6k of a fix job which involved all new panels and only a tiny bit of filler it was back on the road about 8 months after the crash...

WOW thats a pretty big crash, even worse knowing it wasnt your fault at all. Glad to see you both were ok and the cars back on the road looking good :D.

Whats the spec on it bud?

how did you killed the westfield driver ? gun or cut him in small pieces ?

All came from my own pocket to get it back on the road.
Driver of the westfield was taken off in the ambulance, think when he saw me getting out of my car he got bit worried, i'm 6'8" :) :)
 
if it was me i'd have been bouncing him up and down the place, least you got it sorted mate its lookin well

Sorry to see the accident but it good to see your ok and that the car is back on the road!

All i can say is get track day insurance cover. which covers your for accidents be it yours or not.

I know the exist of that corner well at Mondello, having done a few 24hour 2CV races there! and i've seen lots of people do silly things coming out from there though.

hope to see more of your track days though.

Damn, that sucks. Glad you got it fixed. I think its pretty messed up that you had to pay for it yourself to get it fixed!
