My Ek9's 5 mins of fame

Looking good :nice: i remember the bloke asking for volunteers for this.

How come they didn't use the ek9.org web address on your feature? Your 9 looks well good work, is it standard?

I was gutted I'd missed out on this! Not sure where I was on the list of hopefuls.

Nice one tho Kirsty :nice: Did you get a chance to have a hoon while you where there? looks like it was at an airfield.

Might have to pop out and grab a copy.

Wow you got a proper feature. Looks really good although I have no idea what it says :)

I just checked the local store for a copy of the Car Magazine, but they only have the previous published one, so I have to wait for a while..but I will certainly get a copy when it's available in the Netherlands!

Yeah, I was quite astonished when I realized they made a 3 paper article of it :) Of course, I'm proud of the article. The article is about the love for the car and the funny ways I try to keep the EK9 in best condition.. e.g. Not everyone mechanic at the local garages has good knowledge of the car, so I have to keep an eye on them ;) I'm parking in areas where I know no stupid people are around, walking large distances just to save the car. Furthermore, I want to keep the kilometers low, while enjoying the car as much as possible :)

Congratulations of the feature Kirsty :nice:

You also John, both look amazing. :)

Well done on the feature to bothe of you..lovely 9 you got there Kirsty...

Many thanks to you both!

cool stuff! Congratulations :) No one recognizes an EK9 as something "special" over here, it's allways overlooked as a standard Civic, even if it's the only EK9 over here :D

Not sure I told him the web address, but think it was because the guy on here asking for volunteers and organising it had his own forum which is the one in the article. Thanks :) yeah it is all standard as it is my daily

I think he had a fair few volunteers, just got lucky I think :)

It was a good laugh we did get to belt it up and down a bit. The guy that owned the nsx was taking passengers for a hoon until we got told off just as it was my turn :( Still got to sit in it and be driven slowly lol. I suppose it was a little dangerous with planes and helicopters

awesome! congrats :D

Thanks :)

Haha that sounds familiar, worked hard to get it so damn straight going to take extra care of it :)

Thanks. Yeah it a shame but its probably because people just don't know what it is. The writer had a test drive and was surprised by it, when he got out asked if I was keeping it lol "No you can't have it" :)
