Looks nice...but an EK9 is a hatch, not a sedan :p Still, it's pretty original.

its obviously a normal civic sedan with the hubs and engine from an ek9

nice to see something different and un usual

Thanks for the compliments,it was a EK1 sedan,but i transformed it into a ek9 sedan,in japan we can have fd2 sedan why not in a EK :)

EK9 = hatch, FN2 = Current Type R hatch, FD2 = Current Type R sedan so no reason to call yours an EK9 ;) And a bit offtopic, but all the people that put EK9 parts on their EK3/EK4 still haven't got an EK9 since the chassis is still different, no matter what they call it. EK3/4 chassis hasn't got the EK9 reinforcements.

I agree with you sir, 100%.

Oh no, don't want to crush his spirit, I really like the car! It's original/unique and looks good! Just pointing out some facts ;) He could give it it's own name, something like EK8.5 :p But champ white would look nice, especially if he'd spray his wheels black!

Looking good dude, any more updates on this?! :)

Donor looked mint as above lol

Nice! Actually I had the same idea a while ago, but I am to lazy to find a good EK4 sedan (which is surprisingly rare in Japan, there are more EK9 than EK4!) and slowly do a complete conversion.

If I did it it would have the EK4 4 door body sent to a race builder's shop for body reinforcement and repsrayed NH0. However, doing things like that in Japan cost 3 times more than overseas! Really, buying a stock car is way cheaper than trying out of textbook tuning.
