My EK9 Restoration Project Updated 12OCT13

Props to you mate; one of the freshest engines I've seen.

Nice build, keep up the amazing work. :nice:

The level of detail is immense, so jealous that you have this and the knowledge etc to do it. Well done, resepect to that man

Amazing, die You kept it as OEM as possible accept the Fan and coilovers.
I hope that one day I will get same as you have now.
Saving up money with my friend, but to be honest, I want it to be repainted already when I buy couse thats way to much work and non rust.
Maybe a carbon hood would be nice or PlexiGlass hood for the show.

And if my wallet always it (as we say in Dutch) swapping a K20A/K20Z1 in it.

Amazing job you are doing all the patience and knowledge amazing.
Wish had a place like you to do all that stuff.
OneWord

RESPECT!!

Freaking awesome man. I've probably missed it but this is a b16b yeah? Only noticed how the rocker cover's "DOHC" sign is bigger than the "VTEC" lol. I know it's only a cover but I've got a bit of OCD lol. Looking forward to when you're finished though :)

This makes me feel guilty ripping out my ek9s interior lol!

engine and gearbox work complete...about to mount up interior, will post pics

^ japan made carbon interior, genuine honda titanium shift knob and boot...

had to remove bumper to make minor adjustments.

Nice project. Can you make a list with all new parts? I will make a rebuild on my EK4 and i need to prepare all new parts.

Evening gents,

Just got my OEM EK9 wheels power coated.
Top class finish, awaiting brand new center caps from Lings.
May wrap it in some Michelins 195/55/15

The guys here were unable to get the NHO/NH-0 OEM colour, so RAL 9010 looked just fine!
