Hey Guys,

This is my ek9, still in Japan at the moment but should be in the UK on the 1st November! It's a 2000 type rx and i cant wait to get it!:woot:

If anyone can identify the intake or exhaust please let me know :D:D:D

i really cant!!! I've just ordered power fc and the conversion harness so i will be playing with that until my ek9 gets here lol :D
 
Your supposed to be telling me! The company that are importing it for me don't know what make the intake, exhaust or headers are :(

Hoping someone on here will recognise them.

I thought the intake may be a j's?
 
It can be a J's racing style intake...:confused:
and the exhaust...no idea:rolleyes:
it look so clean...but the GT-wing...luck you are going to take it off haha:D
 
Its a top fuel power 3000 intake a j's racing copy my friends ek9 had one on when he imported it at first we thought it was a j's but on closer inspection it was badged up a top fuel

How did it perform bud?:nice:
 
Are you sure youre going to be able to take the foglights off? Because i have them on mine from Japan and the last owner has the bumper cut out to fit the lights in

Yeah, they are only aftermarket ones....see pic below :D

Real nice, even the wing. And yes, if you remove the foglights you should get a new bumper cover, because there will be big foglight holes in the bumper. The wheels are 15" and the brakes look completely standard.
 
intake looks like a j's copy, the header is wrapped so i have no idea, and the front strut bar looks more like ALEX racing which is manufactured by cusco for alex.

Will it make any diff to performance if i take the heat wrap off the header? I would like to have it off just to see what make it is!

Any idea on the exhaust blinx?

hi nice - thing! i think the intake is a top Fuel item. one of the big japanese honda tuners that arn't so known. top fuel has a plastic chamber i think or maybe a FRP while j's has FRP or carbon fibre. also the front side of the filter at the j's item is something chrome-thingy, while the top fuel got darker filters and black top. PWJDM also does make replicas but i dont think the japanese guys import J-spec-copies back to japan :D

btw: nice car, love the Advan RG's, will buy them in gold soon i think :)
btw II: please attach the OEM wing again, this gt-one really sucks *lol*

edit @ brent: usually brands are often printed into the contecting part at the top not on the pipe-work! check tat first! wrapping is for better heat-lead so with that' you'll get a lower engine-bay temperature causing lower intake temperature, means more power but im not sure "how much" this really works. it's only theory. but i think there's a reason why all big japanese tuners like Tomei and Spoon sell optional heat wrapping thing!

Do you know much about the top fuel intake? Is it any good? - Im thinking about getting the mugen :woot:
