DC Sports 4-1 2.5" manifold is ordered!
Heatwrap kit for mani is ordered!
Exedy Clutch and Flywheel is ordered!
Boomslang fabrication 0bd2b - obd2a harness is ordered!

Need to buy Spoon Low position rails & LCA's and i've already got loads of bits just waiting!
 
Well i picked up the Integra DC2 last night!

Sadly yes - the DC2 will not exist much longer!

I cant part with the EK4 - I love it!
 
Yer that teg looks in great nic, please dont tell me ure using that as a donor ? Find a f**** one or smashed front rear to use dont kill a car in good nick. But its your money do what ya like. Best of luck whatever ya do.
 
Yep thats my donor car! The teg is in good nick, i deliberately went for one that was in good condition!

Theres planty more DC2's where that one came from! And it will give anyone a chance who needs parts to get them at a good price :)

Yep doing 5 Lug conversion to the EK4!

Anyone know how i am going to be able to use my original civic key?

I am going to run the stock UK ITR ECU and i have bought a harness for OBD2b - OBD2a and i need to run the Stock ECU at first! Can i use my original key? And is there anything i need to do to be able to?

Please help, i'm a bit stuck with this part of the swap :(
 
The Civic is currently fitted with a TOAD Cat 1 alarm and Immobiliser and being OBD2b i think the ECU has some form of immobiliser - i'm not 100% sure on the ITR i dont think it does!
 
Will do that very shortly mate! Hopefully do that tonight or 2moro! What sort of problems am i looking to face ?
 
Any suggestions on the LCA's?

I was thinking MFactory but will the spherical bearings last in scotland?

I was wanting a set of Omnipower LCA's but i cant find them for the EK4 any more :(

What bout d2 LCA's ? i rekon they'd look nice with your colour of car. quite fancied a set for myself if i'm honest :D

No problems, just challenges my friend :nice:

Ha ha - yeah i like a challenge but the thing i hate the most is - all the difficult mechanical work - all the fitting actually seem easy when i face something as silly as an immobiliser!

I really am not good with car electricals!!! :(

In total everything that was done took two days which wasnt too bad, had loads of help from friends!

We also continued after all that to put my B16a2 engine into one on my mates EK3 Civic - so after completing mine i couldnt even stop for a rest :angry2:

Bring on the rolling road day 8th november!!
